The University Grants Commission (UGC) conducts National Eligibility Test (NET) twice a year during the months of June and December to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Lectureship only and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or both for teaching in Indian universities and colleges.
UGC conducts NET for 78 subjects at through 79 Coordinating Universities across the country. Click on the link given below to get the list of the subjects one can opt for taking up the NET.
