Analysis Of IIT JEE ADVANCE 2013 Results

IIT JEE Advance exam was held on 2nd june 2013 and results were declared on 23rd june 2013.around 1.5 lakhs students were appeared to give JEE advanced.


out of those students 21,110 students have qualified for 9,885 seats across these institutions.from these, 2,392 are women candidates. Not all who qualify get a drop at these institutes, but are a part of the extended merit list and get a chance for counselling and admissions only if the top scorers drop off the list. Nearly 14,336 students will be called for counselling out of the 21,110 for counselling which is starting on June 24th 2013.


Andhra Pradesh: AP bags 4 top 10 JEE ranks. Students of the State have been sportive in the IIT JEE competitive examination by bagging four of the top-10 ranks in the open category, including the all-India first rank in the first-ever JEE (Advanced)-2013 results announced on Friday. All these toppers are from Sri Chaitanya Narayana IIT Academy. From FIITJEE Hyderabad, the top rank was secured by K. Krishna Harsha Reddy (25th rank). JEE (advanced) rankers have to figure in top-20 percentile list of respective 10+2 board exams to be eligible for IIT.


Maharashtra: Seven candidates from Maharashtra were among the top 100 who qualified at the Indian Institute of Technology's (IIT) Joint Entrance Exam- Advanced, results for which were released ahead of schedule on Friday.

There were 25 candidates from the Bombay zone (Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa and parts of Karnataka and Rajasthan) in the top 100 in the merit list, lower than last year's 31. However, the zone still had the second highest number of candidates in the top after the Madras zone (36).


Madhya Pradesh: students have shown their mettle by securing two positions in the top 10 ranks in IIT-JEE (Advanced), results of which were declared on Friday evening. Two students Anand Bhoraskar and Pranjal Khare have secured AIR-3 and AIR-10 rank in IIT-JEE. Another city Student Anmol Arora has secured AIR-14 in the examination.


Bihar: Bihar's ‘Super 30' - the free coaching centre for under privileged students has repeated its feat again! 27 of its 30 candidates have cracked the highly competitive Indian Institute of Technology-Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE or JEE Advance) this year. Last year, too, 27 students of the institute had cleared the exam. In 2003, the first year of the institute, 18 students made it to IITs. In 2008, for the first time, all 30 students of the coaching centre cracked the Exam - a feat which was repeated in 2009 and 2010.
