Download Your CTET Exam July Admit card 2013

hello,
Central Board Of Secondary Education(CBSE) is going to take  Central Teacher Eligibility Test(CTET) on 28th July 2013.Candidates selected for the post to be appointment from I to VIII.

Students can download their admit cards from 3rd July from here and can check their exam centers.if any case of discrepancy of photographs and signatures students have to immediately contact CBSE to take the action.

Exam Teture Increased For CTET July 2013

Question: How much is the increase in the time tenure for the CTET examination, and when is it starting?

Answer: Initially both the papers, paper 1 and paper 2 were just of one and a half hours each, which has now been increased into two and a half hours each. This change is to be implemented, starting the examination this 28 July 2013.

CTET test will have multiple choice questions only and there will not be any negative marking.


There will be two papers of CTET


A. Paper I will be for those who intend to be a teacher for classes I to V


B. Paper II will be for those who intend to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

Note: those who want to be a teacher for both the levels (classes I to V and class VI to VIII) will have to appear for both the paper (paper I and paper II)

  • Principles of the development of children
  • Influence of Heredity & Environment
  • Socialization processes: Social world & children (Teacher, Parents, Peers)
  • Piaget, Kohlberg and Vygotsky: constructs and critical perspectives
  • Concepts of child-centered and progressive education
  • Critical perspective of the construct of Intelligence
  • Multi Dimensional Intelligence
  • Language & Thought
  • Gender as a social construct; gender roles, gender-bias and educational practice
  • Individual differences among learners, understanding differences based on diversity of language, caste, gender, community, religion etc.
  • Distinction between Assessment for learning and assessment of learning; School-Based Assessment, Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation: perspective and practice
  • Formulating appropriate questions for assessing readiness levels of learners; for enhancing learning and critical thinking in the classroom and for assessing learner achievement.
