The Central Board of Secondary education was formed on November 3, 1952. The CBSE board conducts the Class 10 (X) and Class 12 (XII) examinations every year in the month of March. Previously the CBSE board used to give scores in one hundredth i.e. percentages. However, since the last few years there is alteration in the marking scheme. The CBSE authority has introduced grading structure as an alternative of giving marks in percentages. Students who get fewer score can re-appear for the improvement examination in the month of July every year.
